The Talty City Council voted 3-0 to approve a proclamation designating April 2026 as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Judy Trevino moved to approve the proclamation; Nathaniel Caro seconded and the motion carried. Kimberly Gardner of Lone Star Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) spoke to the council in support of the proclamation.
