Resident asks county to fix U‑turn design causing sight‑line and access problems on Civila
A resident of Civila Road told commissioners a newly installed median and U‑turn create visibility and access hazards for roughly six homes and asked the county to take corrective measures such as graveling areas drivers currently cross.

Juanita Yates, who identified her neighborhood and an intersection at Civila and Sherwood Drive, told the board the county‑installed U‑turn and median strip has created dangerous sight lines and forced residents to drive across a median to reach their homes. "We can't see who is coming at us," she said, describing large trucks and trailers that cannot navigate the new U‑turn geometry.
