Pasco Police Officer Eric Maddox, one of three school resource officers assigned to the Pasco School District high schools, said building relationships with students is a central part of the job. "It is building those relationships to where they feel comfortable enough that they can come and talk to me about anything," Maddox said, describing how students sometimes come to his office to talk.
