Oak Ridge council votes to permit golf carts on city streets; ordinance to be drafted
At its Jan. 28 meeting the Oak Ridge City Council unanimously approved a motion to allow regulated use of golf carts on city streets; restrictions will be specified in a forthcoming ordinance.

Mayor Pro Tem Jimmy Quick moved, and Council Member Janelle Davis seconded, a motion to permit legal use of golf carts on city streets with restrictions to be outlined in a forthcoming ordinance. The motion passed with all members voting in favor.
