The Shepherd ISD Board approved multiple financial consent items Sept. 18 to upgrade safety and operational infrastructure across district campuses. CFO J.W. Kirkham presented projects including replacement of older single-image cameras with dual-image models, replacement of district-wide cafeteria braziers at approximately $46,000 each (about $184,000 total) and intercom replacement at Shepherd Primary and Shepherd Intermediate School; the financial consent package passed unanimously.
