Springfield planning commission presses ahead with draft ADU ordinance while tracking state bill
At its June 18 meeting, the Springfield Township Planning Commission decided to continue refining a local accessory dwelling unit (ADU) ordinance rather than pause for Pennsylvania House Bill 2186, which would set statewide limits on setbacks, floor area and parking. Commissioners will cross-reference the local draft with HB2186 and revisit the ordinance in August.
