At its Jan. 8 organizational meeting the Town of Perth Board introduced Local Law #1-2026, which would impose a temporary moratorium on commercial solar uses, battery energy storage systems and small wind energy facilities in the town. The resolution to introduce the local law and set a public hearing was offered by Councilman Watrobski and carried unanimously.
