Human Resources proposed a comprehensive vehicle-fleet policy to clarify who may operate county vehicles, driver qualifications and post-accident procedures. The change followed "several situations involving vehicle accidents, moving violations, driver license issues, and post accident procedures" and is intended to create consistent standards for supervisors.
