The board moved to fill a vacancy on the Visitors Commission and nominated Lisa Baker, who owns the Beehive Assisted Living facilities in the county and in Georgetown. Commissioners said Baker was contacted and expressed willingness to serve; a motion to appoint her carried by voice vote and officials said the appointment brings the commission to full membership.
