Manistee County board approves 3.5% wage increase and sets Administrator contract pay
The board approved a 3.5% wage increase for nonunion staff, court staff and elected officials and separately set a wage of $58.23 on the Administrator/Controller contract, both by unanimous votes.

On Aug. 18 the Manistee County Board of Commissioners approved a 3.5% wage increase for Non-Union employees, court staff and elected officials. The motion carried on a recorded 7–0 vote after Commissioner Shayne Machen moved the measure and Commissioner Nikki Koons seconded it.
