Chair Rachel Nelson provided an update on remaining Blight Elimination projects and the Authority discussed coordination and completion risks. Members heard that 267 3rd Street (Round 3) requires continued coordination with DTE Energy for utility service; 518 1st Street (Round 4) remains pending removal and material testing by Republic Services; and 141 Washington Street (Round 4) raised concern that planned work may not finish by the Sept. 1, 2026 grant deadline, potentially leaving some eligible reimbursement unclaimed.
