Board cites phone-porting problems with Windstream, introduces new IT hire
The board described prolonged phone-porting issues with Windstream that delayed moving numbers to a new system and introduced new IT network engineer Corey Reynolds. Officials said the final phone port was expected later in the week and welcomed the new hire.

During supervisory reports the Chair described difficulties porting phone numbers to the county's new phone system because carrier address data caused automatic rejections. The Chair said a remaining phone was expected to port on Friday and urged staff to keep pushing the carrier for a live contact.
