Lynn Park backstop project deferred to FY28 after timing concerns

Staff told the committee a recommendation to transfer Lynn Park CIP funds to cover a backstop and fencing project would be delayed because the project could not be completed before the spring sports season. Andrew said the department will keep the funds at Lynn and process the project through the regular CIP cycle for the following fiscal year, with construction tentatively scheduled to start July 1, 2027 and an estimated six-week build time once contractors are engaged.
