The board authorized the facilities coordinator to proceed with a security upgrade to the assessor's office entry that would add a tempered-glass partition with a microphone and a paper pass-through to increase security for staff. A staff member explained the tempered glass piece is estimated at roughly $500 and that most of the work could be completed in-house, keeping total costs modest and within budget.
