County awards disaster-debris removal contract; monitoring RFP still pending
Following an evaluation, commissioners approved Grub's Emergency Services for on-call disaster-debris removal and hauling; staff said no local firms responded and that a separate monitoring/reporting RFP is expected to be advertised soon.

Staff informed the board that the county received numerous proposals for RFP 2026-05 (disaster-debris removal and hauling) and the evaluation committee recommended awarding the as-needed contract to Grub's Emergency Services. The contract will be activated only upon a qualifying event and with board awareness.
