Dana Point appoints uncontested district candidates, cancels November elections under state code
City staff reported one qualified candidate for each of districts 1, 2 and 3; council appointed John Gabbard, Matthew Pagano and Heidi Riggs and adopted a resolution to cancel the municipal election under California Election Code §10229.
