Citrus County staff reported that a wooded lot at 6122 East Holly Street had been clearcut while permit applications filed April 23, 2026, remained unresolved; the county recommended a $5,000 one‑time fine plus administrative costs. Land Development Director Joanna Katu told the hearing the permit application had been submitted but not issued; code officer Robert Dero presented aerial and inspection photos showing substantial clearing.
