The Petersburg Borough Assembly approved Ordinance #2026-17 on second reading to establish the Thomas Bay Service Area. The ordinance defines the service area boundary as all property within ASLS 81-235, excluding a federally owned parcel, and authorizes provision of services such as fire and EMS, police, road construction and maintenance, and parks and recreation within the new service area.
