Calallen ISD trustees approved a Texas Education Agency application to permit off-campus physical education programs, a procedural step to allow students to receive PE credit through approved off-campus activities.

The board voted unanimously among voting members on Aug. 25 to approve the district's Texas Education Agency application for off-campus physical education programs. The motion was moved by Chelsea Schulze and seconded by Michael Hatch and carried 6-0 (one member absent).
