The Del Norte County Solid Waste & Food Systems Task Force met to review a draft organics management plan that lays out six recommended priorities for the next decade, including food recovery, community composting, municipal mulching, education and workforce development, partnerships, and a program scorecard. "We're really going to be focusing on the findings and recommendations from that," said Ya Mayan, the task force facilitator and food system program director for the Del Norte and Tribal Lands Community Food Council.
