Municipal Authority seeks Army Corps collaboration; hydrant testing and garbage pickup changes announced
The Municipal Authority requested Council approval to work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on an upcoming project, said random testing of fire-hydrant flow rates will continue, and announced it will provide garbage cans and take over pickup duties after March 26.

At the March 11 meeting, Municipal Authority representative Dave Clark asked Council to sign a letter allowing the Authority to work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on an upcoming project. Clark also discussed hydrant flow-rate testing and changes to municipal garbage service.
