The Colrain Select Board voted Feb. 25 to approve Eversource’s request to install a 35-foot, company-owned service pole at 116 New County Road after a brief public hearing. Chair Emily Thurber opened the hearing at 4:31 p.m.; the motion to approve the installation passed unanimously, contingent on the tree warden and the highway superintendent confirming the exact placement.
