Council approves RFP for shallow groundwater study required by Act 537

Council discussed the requirement stemming from Act 537, approved by DEP in October, that Milford must complete a shallow groundwater study within two years of the plan’s approval. President Dooley said the Borough must hire a soil scientist to assist with subsurface testing. "One of the requirements of the Act 537, approved by the DEP in October was that the Borough is required to perform a shallow groundwater study within two years from the date of the approval of the 537," the minutes state.
