County staff presented bids for the FAS170 bridge project and recommended awarding the contract to L&M Contractors as the low bidder. The engineer's estimate for the project was $453,564; L&M's low bid was reported as $347,856, with Reese Construction at $394,153 and Bridges Inc. submitting a higher bid. A commissioner moved and seconded to accept L&M's bid; the motion was approved by the board during the meeting.
