The board unanimously approved the district’s 2025–26 Student Code of Conduct, which the administration said was developed using the TASB model. The motion passed 7–0 and was presented by Chris Dowdy and trustees.

The Valley Mills ISD Board of Trustees on Aug. 18 approved the district’s 2025–26 Student Code of Conduct, saying the document was developed using the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) model. The motion, made by Trustee Kristy Hollingsworth and seconded by Trustee Jake Wolf, passed by unanimous vote.
