Trustees approve short-term traffic counts for Carney Group project with conditions

The Cold Spring Board of Trustees on a voice vote approved a Colliers Engineering request, made on behalf of Carney Development Group, to deploy short-term camera units at seven village intersections to collect vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle counts needed for a traffic impact study. A trustee moved to approve the request with two modifications: removal of any possibility of mounting on village trees and that Colliers consider shifting evening commuting hours; another trustee seconded and the board answered in the affirmative.
