County to proceed with multiple highway projects and Flex Fund bridge work
Richland County staff reported progress on CR 1 and other roadwork, and the board approved acting as a pass-through for a Brandenburg Township Flex Fund grant and advancing work on bridge #39-121-35.0 as well as removing two long-closed bridges under Flex Fund awards.

Highway Department staff updated commissioners on several local road and bridge projects and the board approved multiple Flex Fund actions at its June 16 meeting. Jesse Sedler reported that CR 1 ditching is complete, two miles of subbase are finished and dirt balancing is under way, with work in Mooreton likely to start after July 4. Sedler also reported graveling on CR 1 and CR 6, contractor plans for chloride application, and that the Helendale Bridge project would be completed the same day.
