Board accepts two propane bids for county services
Richland County opened two liquid propane bids and accepted both. Farmer's Union Oil and Lakes Gas submitted bids with differing rates by location; the board approved acceptance by unanimous vote.

County staff opened and read two sealed bids for liquid propane and the board accepted both offers at the June 16 meeting. Jesse Sedler reported the bids and rates: Farmer's Union Oil offered $0.95 (Hankinson) and $1.32 (Winter) and Lakes Gas offered $1.49 (Hankinson); rates for Colfax/Wahpeton/Barney were higher in both bids. The board approved acceptance of all propane bids by unanimous vote (motion by Commissioner Berseth, seconded by Commissioner Campbell).
