The dispatch supervisor told the board that, per FBI guidance, anyone with access to law‑enforcement radio channels must be vetted and that law‑enforcement channels must be encrypted. "Anything to do with law enforcement has to be encrypted immediately," she said, and described steps the county must take including vetting personnel, removing unnecessary access, and ensuring hospital and ambulance radios are configured appropriately.
