Land Services presented two conditional‑use permit requests to elevate the lowest floors of structures above the regulatory floodplain by installing backfilled stem walls. The first application, for Ireie Isra LLC in Section 17 of Scandia Valley Township, carried a recommendation from the county planning commission dated March 17, 2026; Commissioner Lamir moved to approve and Commissioner Moran seconded. The board approved the permit by voice vote.
