The Marlin ISD Board of Trustees on Feb. 2 received informational presentations on a package of future action items that the Board may consider at later meetings. Karla Sparks (Region 12) presented strategic compensation updates and Norman Jones, Chief Operating Officer, presented multiple items including superintendent hiring authority, Senate Bill 11 (daily prayer time), House Bill 2 waiver, a district vehicle purchase and a resolution for FIC (LOCAL).
