Board pulls CTE graduation approval after district-state data mismatch

"I found all of these different pathways that schools had submitted. I submitted ours. I got back from OSPI... Well, that already is an approved pathway," staff said, explaining why the board item was unnecessary. The board crossed the amendment and removed the item from the agenda; staff said they would investigate Skyward/CEDARS communication issues and follow up.
No formal vote or approval on the CTE pathway occurred at the meeting because the item was removed; staff will reconcile the district's student information system and state reporting before bringing any further action to the board.
