Surveyor Jared Memering of Morley presented a proposal to subdivide a 10.11-acre parcel on Sievers Road and asked the Knox County Commissioners to rezone the property from 1‑2 and R‑A to R‑1. Commissioner Kellie Streeter moved to advance Ordinance No. 2026-7 on first reading to the Area Plan Committee; TJ Brink seconded and the motion passed, 3-0.
