County plans to develop a DNR-approved park plan to qualify for recreation funding
A commissioner said the county will begin developing a park plan required to apply for Department of Natural Resources (DNR) funding and asked colleagues for input on park priorities.

Ron said the county will start developing a park plan this year because a DNR-approved plan is required to apply for certain DNR funding programs. "One thing I wanted to work on this year is start developing a park plan. uh if we ever want to apply for DNR funding, it's a requirement that they have that we have a DNR approved park plan on file," he said.
