Deputy Health and Human Services Director Brad Wheaton told the Gunnison/Hinsdale Board of Human Services that House Bill 26‑1429 (Eligibility Services Changes) passed earlier in June and that the State set a final implementation date of July 1, 2028. Wheaton told the board the State is planning to hire a facilitator to assist local departments with implementation.
