Two members of the public spoke during the open‑comment period. A resident who identified herself as a recent council candidate asked the council to consider her for the vacancy created by Jerry Rezner's departure, cited more than 30 years of business experience, treasurer roles in organizations, and event committee leadership, and said she would be approachable and responsive as a councilwoman.
