The board debated whether the town should hire an outside project manager or authorize the grants coordinator to serve as the municipal project manager (MPM) for the East Hill Road culvert scoping study. Katie said she already performs much of the needed work and asked, "do we need to contract this work out or could I be the project manager," noting the state wanted a named project manager for compliance. After discussion about whether her hours could be reimbursed through the grant, the board moved, seconded and approved assigning Katie as the MPM for the study.
