IT Manager Charles Niner briefed the court on a planned switch to a RingCentral phone system with number porting scheduled for April 1, 2025 (approximately 10 a.m. Pacific time for the vendor). He said old phones will be replaced late March 31 and inbound calls may be down during the porting—"we're going to be out of phone service for a while while that's going on," Niner said—but users with the RingCentral app can make outbound calls and internal calling will function once porting completes.
