Storey County commissioners on March 17 authorized staff to prepare and submit a report to Congressman Mark Ammedday requesting congressional assistance to modify ZIP code boundaries so that ZIP code 89437 would expand to encompass the county's northern portion and 89440 would expand to cover the southern portion.
