Commission approves Jackson minor subdivision to create second buildable lot

The Area Plan Commission approved S5199 on July 17, a minor subdivision that will create a second buildable lot on a parcel east of County Road 400 West. Staff told the commission the surrounding land is agricultural, there is an existing house on one lot, and a seasonal high water table on the site had led the health department to locate a tile on-site so a drainage easement is unnecessary; staff recommended conditional primary approval with seven conditions.
