The Area Plan Commission approved S524 (Blue Fox subdivision) on July 17 after staff presented the proposal for an office/warehouse for an HVAC business at a site near U.S. 52 and I-65. Staff said the applicant requested a subdivision variance to reduce the typical 35-foot half-width to 30 feet because a planned County Highway realignment will remove the need for the extra right-of-way; the county commissioners had already approved that variance.
