Safety Director Porch provided a detailed update on the city's hydrant inspection program, contracted to True North for flow testing. "We have out of the 2800 hydrants, 2,453 hydrants have been inspected and flow tested to this date," Porch reported, adding that roughly 470 work orders were submitted as a result of the testing; 186 of those have been closed and approximately 221 remain open.
