Select Board authorizes Kleinfelder contracts to keep lead/copper and MS4 work moving
To maintain regulatory compliance, the Millis Select Board authorized two Kleinfelder contracts on Aug. 17: lead/copper rule improvements (up to $35,000) and MS4 compliance support (up to $65,000). The moves keep consultant work active while additional funding is pursued at the fall town meeting.

The select board authorized the town administrator on Aug. 17 to sign two Kleinfelder contracts to continue compliance work: up to $35,000 for lead/copper rule improvement assistance and up to $65,000 for MS4 compliance support. Staff said current engineering funds will cover interim payments and the remainder will be requested at the fall town meeting.
