Director: Two aerators will be pulled soon as flow reductions allow

The director reported progress on aerator work at the wastewater plant, saying two units are offline and contractors expect to remove them in the coming weeks once flows are sufficiently low.

In his director's report the Easthampton public-works director said crews are coordinating to reduce flows so contractors can remove two aerators currently offline at the wastewater treatment plant. The director said the work is scheduled to proceed into related return-waste-valve work and that timing has been difficult to coordinate but removal should occur in the coming weeks.
