Tama County approved Resolution 4-14-2026A to impose a temporary 35 mph speed limit on roads paralleling Highway 63 while the highway construction project is underway. The board moved and seconded the measure and recorded affirmative votes, after county representatives and members raised safety and diversion concerns.
