City Manager Vine reported the statewide Main Street program placed Mount Pleasant on probation after the city lacked a main street manager since February. Vine credited Assistant City Manager Candace Webster with keeping the program functional and completing required paperwork; staff said the state coordinator praised Webster’s efforts and the program’s probationary status should be lifted once a suitable manager is hired and onboarded.
