The Springdale Town Council voted May 29 to halt plans for a purpose‑built medical clinic on a two‑acre parcel adjacent to town hall and to explore lower‑cost or modular alternatives instead. The motion, made by Councilmember Randy Eton and seconded by Councilmember Pat Campbell, said the projected construction cost and likely rent levels did not justify the 2,700–4,000 square‑foot designs prepared by VCBO Architects.
