County Approves SecureTech Service Renewal, Gas Line Installs and Mileage Rate Increase
Commissioners approved a $4,881 two-year SecureTech maintenance renewal for panic-button systems, Spire contracts to install gas to the Coroner's Building ($493) and the Sheriff's SWAT building (estimated $15,000), and increased the mileage reimbursement rate to 76.0 cents per mile effective July 1, 2026.

The commission approved a recommendation from Property Manager Roddy Wolfe to renew the SecureTech Systems Inc. maintenance contract for two years at $4,881.00 to maintain panic-button systems for Ashville and Pell City.
