Eastham committee sets pre-construction timing and flags site-access challenges
The committee agreed to require a detailed contractor schedule at a pre-construction meeting after Labor Day, and discussed site access, laydown areas, and the possibility of renting private property for contractor laydown similar to prior water work.

The Capital Projects Committee directed staff to schedule a pre-construction conference after Labor Day at which contractors must supply a detailed mobilization and schedule package. Staff said the pre-conference will be used to review contractor submittals, the schedule of values, and how contractor staging, laydown areas and driveway access will be handled to limit conflicts with DPW operations.
