Commission approves two rezoning requests for 6764 Hall Road

The Robertson County Commission approved two rezoning requests for property at 6764 Hall Road, submitted by Terry and Jamie Nix. The first request (resolution 072‑026‑062) sought to rezone 0.048 surveyed acres of a 3.1287‑acre parcel from AG‑2 to R‑40; the planning commission recommended approval by a 4–1 vote. The second request (resolution 072‑026‑063) sought to rezone 2.1239 surveyed acres of the parcel from AG‑2 to RP‑80; the planning commission recommended approval by a 5–0 vote.

Planning staff (Hunter) read the parcel descriptions and planning‑commission recommendations and answered commissioners’ questions about land‑use classification and staff planner notes. A commissioner observed that the staff planner’s recommendation referenced the land‑use map and noted the parcel contains two homes that applicants were seeking to divide into conforming lots.

Both resolutions were moved and seconded; the commission called the questions and voted to approve each measure as presented.
